Join us for a hockey tournament weekend you will remember forever!

The world's most unique hockey draft experience

Make New Friends

This isn’t just any hockey tournament! You will be drafted to a team for the weekend. Meet great new people and play with, or against your friends. Register on your own or bring your friends (and save big when you do)! Check out a recent story about our stop in Nashville this year.

All Hockey Skills Are Welcome

Your skill level matters not, to us or others, as long as you can put your skates on, everyone is welcome at Draft Tournaments. Our focus is to have fun, both on and off the ice. We make sure all teams are evenly matched.

Uniform is Yours to Keep

Every hockey tournament features fun and outrageous uniforms that are yours to keep once you are drafted. Jersey, pant shells and socks all uniquely designed for each team and hockey tournament. Once home, wear them to your team or pick up games. Or shinny.

Friday Draft Party

A perfect way to start the weekend, you will be drafted to a team, and you will have the chance to hangout with everyone playing in the tournament in a crazy and fun atmosphere. Make sure you practice chugging beer (or other fizzy beverages if beer is not your thing)!

Everyone is Welcome!

The Draft Tournament does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations.

Every Team is Competitive

No need to stress about getting a full team to commit to a weekend hockey tournament. Bring as many teammates as you want, all teams are built at the Draft Party. Find out how it works. Everyone makes the final on Sunday!

After not lacing up and touching a puck for over 33 years, I have been apprehensive about first joining the league, and then registering for a NCHL Sponsored Tourney. However, after Vegas 2014, all fears are done. The tournament itself is very well organized, the draft works so the caliber of players per team is very equitable, and there is a great combination of both having fun and competition. The skilled players are positive, and I picked up several pointers during the game that will ultimately help when I return back to league play. The off ice antics are fun, and I strongly urge anyone with any apprehensions to put them away in the back pocket, sign up, and get ready for the ride.

What a great weekend. Truly a class act by the organizers from NCHL. Amazing jerseys, great Ref's, excellent photos, great teammates, very even teams and new friends made. Thanks all of the organizers. See you next year!

These tournaments are a fantastic experience. I look forward to attending as many as I can, as it is a great opportunity to meet new people and play a bunch of hockey in a relatively non-competitive environment. Everyone is in to have fun, and I have not yet been disappointed in 6 tournaments!

Simply one of the greatest experiences of my life, an amazing group of people and the game we all love. Nothing better than that!

This was an excellent first experience. It was great to see people playing for the love of the game and even though I was one of the weaker players (if not weakest) on my team everybody was supportive and loads of fun to play with. Also very obvious that this is your guys, the NCHL staff, passion. Can't say enough good things! Had an awesome time.

The Bremerton tourney was the best and most exciting time I have had playing hockey. The draft concept eliminated allot of the stress of trying to get a team together and hope your competitive. There is nothing that can come close to how much fun the draft party was. I am ready to sign up right now for next year!!

I look forward to this tournament every year. As this was my fourth it is always fun to catch up with old friends and make new ones. As others have said don't let fear hold you back. I am an older player and have always had nothing but support from my team and also opposing teams. As far as the ladies good on ya. Our team did a great job of making it fun for ALL our players and our female players classed it up.

In 2014, a bunch of guys from Calgary came to our little rink in Bremerton, and changed my life forever. I now have hockey friends all over the world. I have skated in fantastic rinks across the US and Canada. I am proud to be part of the Draft Family - and look forward to each tournament like it is Christmas - and the presents are all of my relationships with everyone on the ice !

Draft Tournament in the News!

The Hockey Tournament You’ve Always Dreamed Off

Imagine this. You don’t need to organize and gather a whole team of people to come to a hockey tournament. Or better yet, you don’t need a team at all.

You can just come as you please, and meet new people each and every weekend somewhere new in the world. Somewhere you always wanted to go to!

What if we told you that when you come on Friday to the Draft Party, where you may not know a single soul, you will immediately be welcomed to the Draft Family. No questions asked. And by the end of the weekend you will have made friends for a lifetime!

Too good to be true, right? Not at all. This happens again and again. That is how good the Draft Family is. So good in fact, that even when you are waiting to catch a bullet train from the airport to downtown Tokyo with your Draft Tournament hat on, someone will notice you and start talking about the Draft Family!

The best part about this hockey tournament is you. And everyone like you. That is what makes the Draft Tournament so satisfying and unique.

Travel The World With The Best People

We, the Draft Family get to travel to fun places in the world to play hockey. Trips of a lifetime, every year. Like, Boston, Nashville, Toronto, Los Angeles, Austria, Japan, and Sweden to name a few.

Funny story, we went to Salzburg in the fall of 2017 by way of Munich (have to hit Oktoberfest, right?). When we got there we immediately went to check out the hockey rink. Only problem?! No ice in it.

The first game is in the morning of the next day and the weather is +20C outside. None of us thought we’d be skating. But the Austrians, they are crafty. To our amazement, the ice was in and ready to go for the first game, green grass, +20C outside and all.

We always dream up new ways of having fun playing hockey. This is what you get to be a part of. Don’t forget to keep the party going, join the Facebook Group.
