FAQ

Who can play in these tournaments?

All Draft Tournaments are 100% co-ed and welcome to all skill levels. You must be of legal drinking age in the tournament location to take part in the draft party, however, you can play in the tournament if you are 18 or older. If you can’t drink alcohol, we have options for you at the Draft Party. See below.

Will I get to play with my friends at a Draft Tournament?

That is up to you, teams are drafted by the participants, so you will have the opportunity to convince your new teammates to draft your friends.  The draft tournaments are a great opportunity to play with new people and maybe even a chance to play against you friends in a fun and competitive environment.

What if I just started playing hockey, can I still play?

Absolutely, the skill level of the participants varies greatly. We have players that just picked up hockey in the months leading up to the tournament all the way to players who have played all their life. The draft process makes sure every team is competitive by averaging the team skill level. The whole weekend is one big hockey party, everyone is friendly and no one cares about your skill level.

Is travel cost included in my tournament fees?

Travel to and from the tournament’s host city is NOT included. It is your responsibility to get to the host city, but we will provide any assistance you need to help you arrange your travel plans.

What if I don’t need a hotel for the tournament?

Every tournament has the option to register without accommodation. Select that option when you register and you will save the hotel room charges.

Can I still do the draft if I don’t drink beer (any type of alcohol)?

Absolutely. This hockey tournament is for everyone, of any skill level and ability, whether you drink or not. When you sign up, just let us know you can’t drink beer (alcohol) and we will provide an alternative at the Draft Party for you, like ginger ale, or carbonated (mineral) water.
